Specialty:

She uses speed and precision when fighting enemies, thus her attacks may not come out as very strong strikes, but may become fast attacks, with several damages following each other. Since she wields a special rapier designed solely for duels, she is more adept in close 1:1 combat, rather than combat against mobs. She will not hold back on using spell-blade techniques either as she has learned some herself and is hiding them under her sleeves.

Background Story:

Her true origin is somewhat unknown, even she knows nothing much of it. She was brought up in a simple everyday family, after her mother took her in her care, when her father desperately tried finding someone to take care of her before he passed away from war injuries. This one part of her past was always kept a secret from her, until one day it was time for her new mother to reveal it to her, as she couldn't bear the secrecy anymore. Lindy, being young, was shocked, and sad at the same time, knowing she will never meet her real parents who are probably not among the living anymore. It was not easy for her to accept the truth, until one night she saw her father in her dreams, brought forth by a lady Valkyrie. After that faithful night, her mind was finally at ease, as she not only met her father, but even her mother, and spent the night with them in her dreams, before the lady Valkyrie had to take them back, because it was time to wake up. From that point on, all she wanted was to protect her parents and homeland from the evils that lurk in the shadows, and to make her parents proud as they watch over her from above. At the age of 10 she applied to become one of the Velder Knights whom she always admired. She got accepted after completing the hard trials that awaited her, and trained under the best of knights. During her training she found out that she had an affinity for rapiers and close combat duels, something she seemingly inherited from a similar style her father used as the knight he was before dying, so she chose to train with the english rapier. When Vanessa and the alchemist of Velder saw the potential in her, they ordered a special magical rapier for her to wield from the blacksmith, who was happy to make such a unique weapon. After years of hardships and training among the strongest of knights, she finally became one of them at the age of 15, never revealing the secret of her parents to others than her closest friends. However, since she was still young, she became the target for a conspiracy among the house of the nobles, especially since she was friends with some of the nobles, and could have easily been pulling strings, which she obviously didn't do; but as it happens to many people, she was backstabbed by one of her noble friends, who got jealous of her origins. To avoid being caught, she fled the knights, never to be seen again for 3 years, until Velder fell under attack by the unknown forces of Darkness, during which a shadow appeared wielding a magical weapon that was familiar to the knights. The now 18 year old fencer couldn't do anything alone against the hordes of demons, so she decided to heed the warning of her tutor from the 3 years of her exile, and searched for Elsword and his gang, to help her against the demons. After her cries for help were accepted, she joined the party in order to fight together with them for Velder. From then on, she also became the 'apprentice' of Elsword, who agreed to help her develop and train her skills further in order to become stronger and protect those she loves (the version of Elsword who trains her will depend on her choice of jobs, if she chooses the road of the Steel Fencer, the Lord Knight Elsword will train her, if she chooses the Runic Fencer, the Rune Slayer trains her, if she chooses the Wind Fencer, the Sheath Knight and Trapping Ranger train her). Also, whenever she trains with Elsword, deep inside she feels that she is somewhat closer to her parents, as she recognized the description of his sister, as someone who she heard of during that dream on that faithful night.

Dislikes: the traitor who turned the king and queen against her, Banthus
Personality:
- positive:
* happygoing,
* somewhat shy (tends to say 'meep' sometimes when surprised) but she's able to keep her calm when needed
* as a knight from Velder, shows her formal demeanor when it is needed, thus she can get formal and easily starts conversations with nobles
- negative:
* somewhat naive sometimes, and this causes the next one
* she keeps grudges, and takes them seriously (just watch what happens when Elsword plays away her trust, ouch)
* her memories keep her sweet and cute, remove them, and you will regret the day you set foot upon the world

Statistics:
    Speed: Medium-Fast (between the two)
    Attack range: Medium Meelee (she can reach further by her rapier and spellblade tech)
    Difficulty: Very Hard, as she is nearly a glass cannon, sporting high attack but minimal defense, and being more of a 1:1, it makes it harder for her to survive AND build her special gauge

Special Ability:
   Bless of the Dueler
-adds a rapier shaped gauge under skills, that fills up slowly with every combo she makes, the better the score the faster it fills, 'Perfect' (or ‘Monstruous’ in the new UI) makes it fill the fastest
-once it fills, the skill activates, and a small emblem appears above the character's head which constantly rains sparkling energy on the character
-effect: extended attack range (with similar energy like the E.S. listed below, but smaller extension), attack speed raised (by 25%), slow HP regen, doubled MP regen
-it lasts 30 seconds, and every skill used takes away 1 bar from the 5 bar gauge
-BotD changes depending on the 2nd job the player aquires
-in case player acquires Royal Guard, BotD changes to Bless of the Crown
-in case player acquires Astral Dueler, BotD changes to Bless of the Planet
-in case player acquires Sonic Gale, BotD changes to Bless of the Wind
-in case player acquires Rayo Fantasma, BotD changes to Bless of the Assassin
-in case player acquires Cieux Cavalier, BotD changes to Bless of the Heavens
-in case player acquires Frozen Heart, BotD changes to Curse of Everfrost

  Hyper Awaken

-combines Bless of the Dueler with Awakening, if Lindy uses Awakening while the Bless is active, then the emblem above her head crashes into her with a spin and she enters Hyper Awakening, changing her skill cut-in, and powering her up
-Awakening time works the same as normal Awakening, except it will last 20% longer than normal
-effect: new skill cut-in, keeps the effects of BotD simply without the emblem over her head, sudden activation attack to stun opposition and prepare next combo, original Awakening energy animation is replaced by a flame-like aura (color changes depending on class: golden for RG, purple for AD, green for SnG, black for RaF, white for CC, light blue for FH)
-during Hyper Awakening, the part of her hair becomes a blue hue and one of her eyes become a lime green hue
-when Hyper Awakening is used in base and 1^st class, she yells up during the Awakening animation, sending small rapiers flying outwards from her in a limited range, stunlocking those who are caught for few seconds
-during Hyper Awakening, her combos and simple actives have a chance to be extended by a randomly appearing blue spectral blade on her rapier, the less she has left of her Hyper Awakening, the greater the chances of the blade appearing, having a 100% change in the final second of the hyper awakening, with 1^st class advancement the chance of it appearing is 1.5x higher than normal and with 2^nd class advancement the chance becomes 2.5x more often except for Cieux Cavalier when the chances are 5x with the blade size halved

(note, she only uses the rapier with one hand (except rarely), and it's always in the right one)
-ZZZ - 3 stabs with her rapier, the third one hitting 3 times
-ZZZ^Z - 3 stabs, followed by a strike diagonally upwards using the edge of the rapier
-ZZZ^ZZ - the basic ZZZ^Z combo, followed by a strike straight downward using both hands
-ZZZ^ZX - the basic ZZZ^Z combo, followed by a spinning jump slash forward
-ZZZ>(Z) - the basic ZZZ combo, followed by multiple stabs, continuously pressing the attack button will keep stabbing to a maximum of 3x the original duration
-ZZZ>(Z)X - the previous combo, finished off with a pirrhouette slash
-XXX - 3 slashes, one diagonally downward (upper right -> lower left direction), one horizontally from left to right, and a pirouette slash hitting all around her
-XXZ - first 2 slashes from the xxx combo, followed by a multi stab attack that hits 6 times
-XZZ - first slash from xxx combo, followed by a stab, followed by a stronger knockdown stab
-^vZ - from mid-air, she comes crashing down with a vertical stab downwards
-^vZX – combo is followed up by a pirhouette slash wave
->>Z - during running, stabs enemy with the rapier, can pierce and hit 1 enemy behind the first one
->>X - during running, slashes upward at the enemy with the rapier
->><Z/<<>Z – Lindy turns around and sends a short magical stab wave in the direction she turned towards

- Feinte (Feint, 30 MP) - high cooldown Active skill, Lindy assumes attack position, if she is attacked in the next 2.5 seconds, she shadowsteps behind the enemy, and strikes from the back with a slash (200-240-280% Physical damage, starter active)
- Retraite (Retreat, 20 MP) – Lindy makes a sudden backwards dash, leaving room for dodging an attack, and instantly makes a forward jab (former Riposte) to counterattack
- Ram (15 MP, 1% HP) – Lindy rams into those in front of her with her shoulder, pushing them away, stunning for a second
- Sliding Strike (30 MP) – Lindy slides through enemies with a short range long stab
SPECIAL ACTIVE:
-Touche (100 MP, Phys.) - similar to the zzz combo's last stab, stabs with bigger power, this time hitting once for great damage
-Extended Strike (100 MP, Mag.) - does a diagonal upwards slash, which is magically extended with a purple blade-like-energy, that hits enemies 3 times instead of once, can catch enemies behind first one if they are close enough
-100 Sting (200 MP, Phys.) - using her speed, she stabs and slashes in front of her 100 times using 120 to 200% Phys. attack power (depending on level), gaining super armor in the meantime, so the attack cannot be interrupted, but she CAN be damaged
-Half/Full Moon Slash (200 MP, Mag.) - when used, if no button is held pressed, she jumps up and slashes around herself in a semi circular motion, leaving behind a shining C shaped energy that bursts apart, if forward/backward is held, she jumps forward/backward in an arc and pirrouette slashes at the peak of the jump in a bigger semi circular motion around her, leaving a bigger C in front, in Hyper Awakening she does the same, however semi circular slashes are replaced with a perfect circle slashes, showing a full moon behind her after the slash is done, also sending a smaller extended magical wave outwards from the slash area, it always hits 400% Mag. attack power, but the extending energy's area of effect grows with skill level, both versions are voiced differently
-Great Blade Mortem (270 MP, Phys.&Mag.) - summons a shining purple blade from the Heavens to fall down 50 meters from her into the enemies, ending with a small blast (awakened mode changes the blast into a small multi hit explosion)
-Blazing Buster (300 MP, Phys.) - Lindy charges in her rapier, and delivers 6 consecutive powerful energy enhanced and covered long energy stabs that sound like concrete smashing apart (hitting in an angle randomly, however always achieving 2 diagonally up, 2 diagonally down and 2 straight forward), followed by several faster rapid energy enhanced large extended slashes that sound almost like concrete smashing apart (the slashes are in different angles)

Trivia:
* the character known as Lindy was first conceived to be a Knight for the Lord Knight class line in Ragnarok Online, sporting the same design of having pink hair, strong will, a short ponytail and having a not so peaceful private life
* Most of her classes had small design changes before they were revealed, being recreated from scratch before having their Coming Soon shadow images shown, these changes took place mostly for the 1st classes (Steel Fencer gone from two gloves to having only one symbolic glove, Runic Fencer had her hairstyle changed, and Wind Fencer's design was fully changed from an everyday clothing style to a dancer style, aside from the Steel and Runic Fencer rapiers, all of other rapier designs were also changed), 2nd classes had very minor details changed only.
* Originally the Wind Fencer bra and panties were of blue color, but were changed to white after friends suggested the obvious color compability problem with her, later after her revamp they were changed to pink to coincide with the character more.
* Before her final changes, Wind Fencer and Sonic Gale were supposed to become her evil classes, but circumstances brought changes, and Runic Fencer and Astral Dueler took on the role as the evil classes, while the other two became her loving classes, this change however is still visible, as some of the skills of WF/SnG still attain a kind of murderous nature
** This however is somewhat fixed post PROJECT: Voice, but it still remains somewhat visible
* Up until the comicbook of Astral Dueler's class change, her mentor was a random person never to be mentioned, once the comicbook came around, the mentor image with a few changes to some skills helped further shape Runic Fencer and Astral Dueler, and gave already existing skills obvious traces of her "mentor", as they are similar to what one would see when around the person
* Lindy has a small angel shaped birthmark on her left buttcheek, this is something added later for the sake of her backstory, and ties her in with her father who also appears in her backstory as a canon character, this birthmark can only be seen when she is wearing very skimpy clothes, like bikini or the Wind Fencer/Sonic Gale outfit (the latter is harder to see, due to some pieces of the clothes covering it)
** Her strong affinity to darkness (as shown in the RnF/AD path) also connects her further to her father who experienced a strong darkness take over him in his life.
*Due to Grand Chase's Edel receiving an upgrade to her 300MP skill that changes it to be like Lindy's Moon Slash, I decided to change Lindy's Moon Slash severely, while keeping the original concept there. I will not let them influence my created character with their 'coincidential similarities'
**Edel was released AFTER Lindy was long released on elsword forums and deviantart, so any similarities are futile to use against me.

*Lindy joins the team BEFORE Elesis joins in, she joins sometime AFTER Lindy changes to 2nd class, which is why she is seen in some 2nd class comics featuring Lindy, but not before/when changing to 2nd class.
** Lindy's Great Blade Mortem came before Elesis's Sword of Relics. PERIOD! Don't even try to be a smartypants! They might be based on the same concept, but Lindy's came first. It still bugs me that they made them so similar, so don't make me bite! Because I bite hard!
*During Hyper Awaken her hair and eyes change color because her true hair color is of dark blue and eyes are lime green, her hair turned pink due to magic cast on her when she was a baby, inheriting the hair color of the one who cast it on her, and the blue of the hair replaced her eye color. This is further proven by the fact that if she pulls out a strand of hair, as it dies away it turns back to blue, because it lost connection to her body. Her eye changes to lime because of the blue from one eye flowing back onto her pink hair.
**This is also the reason as to why her main color is blue, and not pink.
